I am 54 and haven't done a formal course like this in more than three decades, so I was a little bit worried. I needn't have been. Tony is obviously an expert at getting the best out of all his students, not matter what their age or background. I was amazed at the different types of people on the course, both men and women of all ages. I don't know about the other guys but my certificate came in the post this morning. I got 88% so not only do I have my CPC, I also have a big boost in my confidence regarding what I can achieve given the best tuiton.

Just a quick note to say that I got my exam results today & I passed! Thank you so much for all your help for preparing for the exam. I really enjoyed the course, you made it very enjoyable, never boring. I remember nearly passing out with fright when I saw the size of the CPC manual on the first day of course in Birr as its been more than 25 years since I sat an exam , but thankfully with your teaching methods, handouts & slides in class it wasn't a problem. The only part of the course that I didn't like was the weekend drive up/down to Birr from Dublin!! Thanks again Tony & hope you have many more successful years teaching this CPC course. Take my advice and do your CPC with Tony. Unfortunately I did a CPC Course and exam elsewhere and I failed. Fortunately I then went to Tony and I even travelled from Kerry to a special summer course he was running in Birr. It was brilliant! His way of teaching and his special notes were like chalk and cheese compared to my previous experience. There was just no comparison between the delivery and quality of the two courses. I flew through the exam and I couldn’t recommend Tony highly enough. So if you want to pass your CPC first time and enjoy the experience of a great course make sure to take my advice and do a CPC Course with Tony.

I would like to thank Tony for his help with recent CPC course I sat the passenger exam I had not opened a book since leaving school over 25 years ago so it was extra hard for me,Tony simplified everything for me and was very helpful with questions whether at classes or over phone day or night (within reason 3am)there where times when I felt like quitting but phoned Tony and he put me back on track right away.He presented course very well and everyone at course was there to learn which made it easier no distractions.I would highly recommend Tony for anyone thinking of doing a CPC exam and go do it sooner rather than later with Tony. Hi Tony – when I applied for the CPC Course I was apprehensive as to what the course content would entail, not having a haulage background myself. I was surprised to find, however, that a lot of the material was relevant to my current profession, such as health and safety legislation. There was very little material which I couldn’t understand and the constant repetition of the difficult work in class was an excellent way of learning and retaining it. I was delighted to find that I felt well prepared for the exams and was delighted with my results. Thanks Tony and best of luck with the upcoming courses.

I have never been an acedemic sort of person and I find it very difficult to study. Despite this, I was able to focus and learn very easily during Tony's CPC course. There is only one reason for this - Tony Hynes.

Tony simplified the course for me and made it very easy to understand every important section of the course. What looked like a daunting course became an easy excercise in logic and basic understanding. This was down to Tony's tuition. When it came to the exam, I began to think that Tony had written it himself because he predicted almost every question that came up!!

I would recommend that anybody building a career in transport should attend one of Tony's courses. I will definitely be a better Transport Manager for it.
